Great times/Great Finds!

We spent this past weekend at my parents in Glen Rose. If you have never been there it is a must! They have shopping, rivers to float, and outdoor adventures for the kids. It is such a cool touristy town. We always have a nice time with my parents just relaxing on the porch watching Parker play in the water or messing with the little bugs running around. Ewww, I know, but he is a boy. My mom is the proud owner of a garden spider. This thing is HUGE and here is a picture of one. They are supposedly really nice and don't do a lot but make a sac for their babies, but I am still not convinced.


Tye and I also got a chance to hang out by ourselves and run some errands. I got my hair cut and he went to Home Depot. We are so "that married couple." We also went by a cute store in Glen Rose called Cheerful Hearts and I got this! So excited about it and I am thinking it will make its home in the Powder room.


Parker also had fun making a mess in the living room by pulling out all the magazines under the coffee table. He is such a mess, but we all think it is pretty cute.



And I have decided my first house project will be painting and decorating the powder room. I am so excited about this and I am not sure why. I hate to paint, but for whatever reason, I feel like this time it will be different. I am sure I will regret this once I am in the middle of it, but I guess there is always my backup...Tye! Here are the three colors I am deciding between.

Its hard to tell the difference between the paints, but there is one I promise. I am leaning towards the middle one, but I am going to sleep on it. I am not going to lie, I am pretty excited. Now if only I could get Tye to go for painting the entire house!
